About Okoboji
Webster's Dictionary defines 'home' as "one's place of residence, a familiar or usual setting, and a place of origin." We define 'home' as "Okoboji."
Okoboji is known for its beautiful glacier-carved lakes. The Iowa Great Lakes are made up of Iowa's largest natural lake, Spirit Lake, and five interlinked lakes: West Okoboji, East Okoboji, Upper Gar, Lower Gar and Minnewashta. West Lake Okoboji is a spring-fed, blue water lake that reaches a depth of 134 feet.
For over a century, folks have been returning 'home' to Okoboji for family reunions and vacations. Some leave at the end of the summer season, only to return again each year. Many never leave. Once Okoboji gets in your blood, you're hooked!
